PRIVACY & CARE

Private preparation.
Clear choices.

What you tell the Director and what you share with your group are different things.

This page explains private preparation and shared materials in plain language. Your private portal presents the applicable consent and retention choices for your engagement.

Your participation
is your choice.

You can skip questions or decline a reflection. An organizer, employer or payer cannot provide permission for another participant.

Private preparation is not permission to publish it. In the Couples Map, each answer has a destination: S (shared consideration), F (the owner’s private Folio only) or D (Director only, excluded from every report and automated drafting). No selection means D. F never influences the shared Map. Destination and AI-processing permission are separate. If AI assistance is offered for your engagement, the Director explains the tools and data handling first and asks for a separate explicit yes. A human-only route is available, and the human Director remains responsible for report review.

A take-away report needs its own choice.

For the Couples Map, S means a response may inform its owner’s Folio and be considered for a shared Map when that route is appropriate and permitted. It does not by itself approve showing the combined reading or releasing the final report. Each person reviews their own Folio and proposed contribution, then separately decides whether to allow combined review. Both must allow it before either sees the shared draft. Both then approve the exact final Map before it is released to both at once.

A two-person contribution is not anonymous: participants may understand who offered it even when names are omitted. A recipient can save a report they receive. A correction can change the reading and restart review; portal withdrawal cannot recall copies already saved.

In a Relational Map, you choose answer by answer.

For the two-person Couples Map, you choose S, F or D for each answer and follow-up. S is shared consideration, F is Folio-only, and D is Director-only; blank means D. Your own Folio may use your S and F answers. The shared Map may use only eligible S answers from each person. D answers remain with the human Director and cannot inform a report. This is a named two-person process, not anonymous sharing. Team engagements use their separately scoped format and permissions; those rules do not change the Couples Map.

Withdrawal has limits.

A participant can correct or withdraw a current answer or permission. The Director must revisit dependent wording and conclusions, and approvals reset when the meaning changes. Portal access to a dependent Map may be withdrawn; this cannot recall copies already saved or control conduct outside the service.

Only bring what
belongs in the inquiry.

Tell us the purpose, group size and timing. Do not send another person’s private story or reflection through the public inquiry form. Detailed participation, retention and sharing choices come later, in the private workflow.
